Saturday, October 10, 2015, 11am ET / 8am PT
This event is in the past.
2pm. Have you ever seen someone similar to you in a TV commercial and thought, "That could be me"?
Have you been wondering how to get started in this area of showbusiness?
Join TOP NY Commercial Agent Janine Cerny for a forum where you can ask anything about the biz. It's solidly devoted to giving you as much information about commercials and what's expected of them as the time allows. It's her passion to share her experience, to develop and teach actors from an agent's point of view.
-Learn about every aspect of the television commercial world, from the "birth" of a commercial right up to its airing (behind the scenes)
-Learn about the audition process and how to prepare for auditions
-Headshot/resume review
-Develop your look for the commercial market...what 'type' am I?
-You'll perform commercial copy on camera and review playback. They will then receive constructive criticism and helpful advice. You'll perform again using techniques learned from feedback.
-You'll finish with a final Question and answer...where you are encouraged to ask any questions that come to mind. The only silly question is the one not asked. Ask Janine anything...
This intensive is geared toward beginner and intermediate levels.
