Please note that this in person seminar will be at:

Pearl Studios NYC

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

Pearl Studios has two addresses:

500 8th Avenue, 3rd and 4th floors
and across the street
519 8th Avenue, 12th floor
(between 35th and 36th)

All studios labeled with numbers are at 500 8th Avenue, 3rd and 4th floors.
All studios labeled with letters are at 519 8th Avenue, 12th floor.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this seminar, please bring in your own scene of choice (no more than 2 minutes in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration).

IN ADDITION: Please bring TWO HARD COPIES of your scene - one highlighted FOR THE READER

Once you have picked your scene, please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.


PLEASE FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES LISTED BELOW:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Katie Lynch

Katie Lynch was born and raised on Long Island, New York. Following a lifelong passion for comedy, film and television she moved to NYC to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She graduated from The New School with a BA focusing on Entertainment Business and Media Studies.


After internships at Warner Brothers Records and 3 Arts Entertainment, she began an internship with Boals, Winnett & Associates (then Judy Boals Inc.) and soon became a full time assistant. She became a franchised agent in 2018 and represented film, television, theater and literary clients at BWA until 2023.

In 2023, Katie joined the team at Resolute Artist Agency as the Head of the Television and Film Department.
