New! Zoom: FILM/TV Online Intensive with Mia Cusumano CSA, Casting Director, M&M Casting

Always busy, Mia's recent projects include the feature SHE SAID, Hulu's series RAMY, NY casting for Netflix's Oscar nominated THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO 7 and the hit TNT series SNOWPIERCER. 

Her upcoming projects include a new Amazon series and THREE FILMS with casting partner Meghan Rafferty. 

Her intensive will start off with an informative virtual Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

Mia is always interested in meeting new talent - all types - all ethnicities - all ages (14+).

This class is for adults and teens (14+).
(Teens and Parents: Please note that some scenes/discussions will have adult language, themes and situations and you must be okay with this to take intensive.)

What to Prepare:

For this intensive, Mia will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

Assignments will be emailed 1-3 day in advance. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.

Mia Cusumano

Mia is a three time Artios Award nominated Casting Director, winning for her work on The Trial of The Chicago 7.

Over the past 20 years in casting; some of her more notable projects include Ramy(Hulu), The Leftovers(HBO), Paterson, She Said, The Trial of the Chicago 7(Netflix).

Among many TV series, Mia has also cast numerous independent films, including The Throwback (releasing this March) Bruiser (TIFF) Lez Bomb, Doctor Doctor, Paint (Sundance).

Mia began her career as the Casting Coordinator for ABC's Primetime Casting Office.

She is currently casting five films and about to start on an yet to be announced Amazon series.

Mia resides in New York City.
