In Person: 2 Week THEATER Class with PLAYWRIGHTS HORIZONS Lisa Donadio, Associate Casting Director

REGISTER NOW for this in person 2 WEEK theater class with the Associate Casting Director for Playwrights Horizons, one of the most highly respected Off-Broadway Theaters in New York City.

Lisa will have received your headshots ahead of time and "cast" each actor in a theater scene, which you will be sent via email 1-2 days in advance.

The night will start off with a Q&A, and then you will read your sides with a reader.

Be prepared for awesome feedback and training that will impact your auditions immediately.

In the second week, you'll be paired with a scene partner from class to perform different material assigned by Lisa. You will get to work on two plays in her class!

Casting for over 10 years with Alaine Alldaffer at Playwrights Horizons, Lisa's credits include: The Flick (PH and Barrow Street), Clybourne Park (B'way and PH), Heroes of the Fourth Turning, A Strange Loop, Dance Nation, The Treasurer, Familiar, Hir, The Christians, Detroit, Circle, Mirror, Transformation, Stage Kiss, Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play, Rapture Blister Burn, Present Laughter with Victor Garber for The Huntington Theatre and Roundabout.

Lisa is always interested in meeting trained actors of all types-all ethnicities-all ages (18+) for their many projects.

Lisa is interested in seeing committed actors looking for honest and constructive feedback.

Pearl Studios NYC

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this class, Lisa will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. IN ADDITION: Please bring TWO HARD COPIES of your scene - one highlighted FOR THE READER.

Assignments will be emailed at least 24 hours in advance. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.
