He became interested in filmmaking at the age of nine, and ever since has been living his dream of bringing stories to life in movies. He aspires to achieve a career of constant and never-ending growth and improvement in filmmaking and photography.

Rather than take the traditional route of applying for a job in the film industry after he graduated, Martin decided to take his career into his own hands and go the independent route. He currently runs a headshot photography studio downtown called City Headshots, which specializes in actor and business portraits. Martin's experience behind the camera as director, casting director, and cinematographer has helped develop his eye for what really makes a headshot stand out among the rest. He directs every client to bring out their best expression, emotion, and character, to ensure look experienced and confident in their headshot.
