In Person: MUSICAL THEATER Masterclass with Jason Thinger, Casting Director, Jim Carnahan Casting

Here's your chance to work with this top casting director from one of Broadway's biggest casting offices.

Broadway: Merrily We Roll Along, Funny Girl, A Beautiful Noise, New York, New York, Almost Famous, Take Me Out, A Christmas Carol, Tootsie. 

Off-Broadway: Little Shop of Horrors, Merrily We Roll Along (NYTW), Medea (BAM). 

Regional/Tours: A Beautiful Noise, Funny Girl, Ride(Old Globe), Galileo (Berkeley Rep), A Christmas Carol, The Light in the Piazza(Lyric Opera of Chicago).

The evening will start off with a Q & A, and then each actor will perform for Jason using your prepared material in a group format.  He will coach, give direction and offer honest, constructive feedback on your audition material if what you are currently using doesn't “work".

Jason is interested in working with actors of ALL TYPES - ALL AGES (18+).

This class is limited to 14 ADVANCED Musical Theater actors.

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this Master Class, please prepare two "short" contrasting songs (16 or 32 bars).  Please also have your list of songs/book available as Jason might want to hear more.

An accompanist will be provided. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.
