In Person: Musical Theater MASTERCLASS with Alison Franck CSA, Casting Director, Franck Casting

A casting professional with over 20 years of Broadway, Off-Broadway, Touring, Regional Theatre, TV, Film, Commercial and Voice Over Casting experience, we are thrilled to welcome Alison in to teach this One Night Only Musical Theater Master Class!

Her projects include the national tour of Legally Blonde (currently running), A Chorus Line (was just done in China), upcoming Madagascar, a play called FUKT and the national tour of The Cher Show.

For this Master Class, please prepare two "short" contrasting songs (16 or 32 bars). Please also have your list of songs/book available as Alison might want to hear more.

The evening will start off with a Q & A, and then each actor will perform for Alison using your prepared material in a group format.  She will coach, give direction and offer honest, constructive feedback on your audition material if what you are currently using doesn't “work".

Alison is interested in working with actors of ALL TYPES - ALL AGES (13+).

This class is limited to 14 ADVANCED Musical Theater actors.

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

  • Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Alison Franck

Alison Franck, CSA, has been a casting director in NYC for more than 28 years.

She started as an assistant for many Broadway Productions, then she worked in film/TV for several years, then from 2000-2010, she was the Resident Casting Director at Paper Mill Playhouse.

In 2011 she joined the team at Liz Lewis Casting Partners, where she cast commercials, voiceovers, film/TV, and theatre.

Alison now runs her own company, Franck Casting, where she has cast several tours of well-known musicals including Legally Blonde, Dreamgirls, An American in Paris, A Christmas Story: The Musical, A Chorus Line, The Simon and Garfunkel Story,  Madagascar, the Musical and the upcoming tours of The Cher Show and Little Women.
