MARILYN R. ATLAS, Personal Manager/Producer, Atlas Management

An award-winning producer and personal manager, Marilyn R. Atlas is equally at home in the worlds of film, television, and live theater. As a personal manager, she represents clients on both coasts for all legit areas (film, tv and theater). Currently she is seeking young talent (13-22) with training and credits as well as attractive leading types with excellent credits (23-29). She keeps a small client list and also represents screenwriters and directors. From seminars, Marilyn has recently SIGNED two new clients. Among her credits as a film producer are "Real Women Have Curves" for HBO which won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival, "A Certain Desire" starring Sam Waterston and "Echoes" which won the Gold Award at the 1991 Texas International Film Festival. She was also involved as a producer in the development of the MOW "Nightwalker" and "Playing for Keeps." Marilyn is currently developing the feature "Lucy Luna" and the cable movie "Brides' March" for Lifetime Television, and a limited television series. Atlas previously produced the musical version of "Real Women Have Curves" in Los Angeles in 2009. Atlas is now partnering with Broadway producer Chris Bensinger for the musical version of "Real Women." She is also featured in the book "Write Now!" Penguin/Tarcher Publishing released January 2011.
