You know you need new headshots. The harder question is: What are those headshots supposed to do?
Clinton will walk through how to identify the types of roles you’re most likely to book and turn that information into a practical plan for your next headshot session.
We’ll talk about doing some personal research into your market, looking at the types of roles that come up again and again, and recognizing the TV, film, theatre, and commercial worlds where those roles live.
We’ll also look at the difference between co-star and guest-star headshots, and why you may want different images doing different jobs.
We’ll explore how to build four strong looks that can cover multiple casting opportunities, how wardrobe and styling can suggest a world without turning into costume, and what needs to read when your headshot is competing with a screen full of thumbnails.
Clinton will also demonstrate ways actors can use AI as a research tool to explore current shows, recurring role types, casting trends, wardrobe ideas, and possibilities they may not have considered.
We’ll talk about working with your photographer, preparing for the session, getting past some of the pressure actors put on themselves in front of the camera, and making choices that help your headshots, resume, reel, and casting profiles work together.
And because every actor’s situation is different, we’ll leave plenty of room for questions and discussion.

Need new headshots? Clinton’s kids session is $500 for two looks in a one-hour session. And if you’re a grownup who’s still a kid at heart, he’ll extend the same option to you. His full two-hour headshot session is $675.

Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.
