In Person: SEMINAR with JIM DALY, Agent, bloc NYC

Jim has been the head of the Theatrical Department at Bloc NYC for 18 years. 

He has clients in most hit Broadway shows including HARRY POTTER, HAMILTON, THE GREAT GATSBY, HELL'S KITCHEN, ALADDIN, MOULIN ROUGE, DEATH BECOMES HER and MAMMA MIA!

Bloc clients are also featured on the tours of & JULIET, THE WIZ, MJ, BACK TO THE FUTURE, SPAMALOT and THE LION KING along with making regular appearances on episodics ranging from FBI to SVU and POKER FACE to ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING.

Jim has SIGNED several of our AC actors from seminars and special events.

After a Q&A he'll see Scenes with our Reader or Songs ONE on ONE

***Actors Connection provides our readers for all events. AC also provides accompanists for all in person events.

Please note that this in person seminar will be at:

Pearl Studios NYC
500 8th Avenue, 3rd, 4th and 12th floors
(between 35th and 36th)

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this seminar, please prepare up to 2 minutes of material. This can be one song, two short cuts of songs or one scene (no longer than 2 pages) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration).

IN ADDITION: Please bring TWO HARD COPIES of your scene - one highlighted FOR THE READER

If you choose to do a scene, please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.lease note that an accompanist will NOT be provided. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

If you have an emergency for a class you are participating in outside of these hours, please email help@actorsconnection.com and your host will be able to respond.

**No recording of any kind is permitted by participants during class.**
