Here's your chance to find out about Essentrics Fitness workouts plus get a free class led by Steven Gray, Level 4 Essentrics Coach.
As an actor, you are always seeking to enhance your physical presence and confidence, and you may seek ways to improve your physical and mental health. Essentrics is an excellent choice for achieving these goals.
Steven will start off with a brief introduction about who he is and the origins of Essentrics. He'll then lead a 30-minute Essentrics session with a wrap-up and Q&A.

Steven Gray
I'm a former modern dancer and fitness instructor since 2006. My first dance class was at age five in Colorado, and I have danced ever since. As a young man in New York, I toured the world with the modern dance company, The Nikolias Dance Theater. As a fitness instructor from 2006 - 2020, my focus was Gyrotonic. In early 2020 he fell in love with Essentrics, the movement, philosophy, and community.
Why I love the stretch and strengthening of Essentrics:
I began my training as a Modern Dancer at a time when we did not have a focus on lifting
weights. Current culture seems obsessed with lifting weights and a "the heavier, the better" mentality. Especially as I age, I am so grateful for my dance training, as we only needed our bodies and the exploration of Motion, Space, Time, and Shape to develop and maintain our strength and flexibility. The Essentrics program has taken the fitness concept of dance (Ballet in particular) and removed the fancy steps, the high impact of jumps, and the extreme turnout. What remains is an uncomplicated workout that anyone can do, even for your first time, and a challenging workout that you can return to repeatedly, and still benefit from the physical and mental stimulation. The effect is that your muscles become long and lean, withtensile strength yet supple, like a dancer, and this is why "Just Dance Into It" is the MotionalCORE tagline.
