FREE Online Seminar - How to Find Film/TV/Theatre Projects That are Right for You
Tuesday, October 18, 2022, 3pm ET / 12pm PT
This event is in the past.

One of the first steps to creating a successful performance career is knowing what you do best and the unique talent that sets you apart from other actors. This comes from defining your most castable type, crafting an overview description, and targeting projects that are a perfect fit for your unique talent.
This process will lead you to discover and create a targeted list of Film/TV/Theatre projects that need to be on your radar. Finding your type as an actor is an instrumental first step to fast-tracking your career.
As you progress throughout your career, your type may change, evolve, and grow. Actors’ types are not set in stone, but it is important in the beginning to be aware of what yours is so you know how to market yourself.
In the Q&A Workshop, we will discuss these 5 major steps:
- Sept 1 - Define Your Type and Uniqueness.
- Step 2 - Research Your Current Market.
- Step 3 - Create Your Project List.
- Step 4 - Do Your Marketing Tools Support Your Castable Type?
- Step 5 - Submission Note to Casting Directors
- find projects that match your unique skills & demographics
- build & discover connections with industry contacts
- log all auditions & events
- set specific career targets
- take control of your finances
- keep you connected to the industry no matter what state, city, town your home base is
- demystify the "business of acting" so you can focus on your craft
