This event is in the past.

Kevin is currently the associate casting director at Wojcik/Seay Casting. With Wojcik/Seay he casts the national tours of Kinky Boots, Something Rotten, and the RENT 20th Anniversary Tour, as well as multiple regional theatres and various print and commercial work!

Kevin believes in the importance of the casting director to create a comfortable, safe, and happy audition room for both actors and creative teams, and strives to seek out a diverse range of actors for each role with regards to race, gender, and disabilities.

Kevin began his career studying at the Orange County High School of the Arts in Santa Ana, CA, and earned his BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. As an actor he appeared in Broadway national tours, regional theatres across the country, and even Disneyland! After leaving the stage behind, Kevin was hired as the Industry Liaison for The Actor's Green Room, a film & television based networking and acting studio. He quickly discovered and cultivated a passion for helping actors discover the tools to succeed, and sought a more hands-on opportunity to work directly with actors. This led him to an internship with Joy Dewing Casting, where he worked his way up to casting assistant and finally, casting associate.

Kevin frequently teaches and participates in casting workshops for Broadway Artists Alliance, Broadway Dance Center, AMDA, Beacon Performing Arts Center, The Amy Murphy Studio, and Sharp Studios. Twitter & Instagram: @kevmetz
