You'll also receive an emailed feedback form after the event to provide even more clarity on how your work was received.

Event Overview:

The event will start off with an informative group Q&A, followed by one on one presentations of your scene with a reader.

***Actors Connection provides our readers for all events.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this showcase, please bring in your own scene of choice (no more than 2 pages in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration).

Please bring 3 headshots and resumes stapled together in case guests ask for them.

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the day before the event.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.
The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Jillian Skale is a talent agent specializing in Commercial and Voice Over representation at DDO Artist Agency’s Chicago office.

Since starting as an intern in 2019, she's worked her way up with a mix of hustle, humor, and a keen ear for standout voices. A graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University with a BFA in Acting, Jillian brings a performer’s insight to the business side of the industry—bridging the gap between artist and opportunity. When not negotiating contracts or scouting the next big thing, she can be found spoiling her cats or at a yoga studio.
