Actors Connection is thrilled to have Jack back who recently started working with a powerhouse TV casting office currently working on a new NY TV series!

For this event, Jack will have received your headshots and resumes and cast you in a scene which you will receive 1-2 days in advance. You'll start off with a Q&A and then he'll begin working with you with a reader ON CAMERA in a group format. Be prepared for feedback and to take adjustments on the fly.

Limited to 14 actors

***Scenes will be recorded on-camera. As a courtesy, your video clips will be made available to you within a week. An email notification will be sent when the clips are available to view and download from your Actors Connection account. Please note: from time to time technical issues do occur, as a result video clips are a courtesy, not a guarantee.***

For most of our on-camera classes and special events at Actors Connection, we record your on-camera work with the designated casting director/industry guest and then, as a courtesy, post it online for you to view and download. Videos are for educational purposes only and are NOT to be posted on YouTube, Facebook, or any other public viewing site.

Jack Bowdan

Jack recently joined Landsburg Management as a personal manager working in the fields of theatre, television and film.

Most recently, he was a talent agent at Professional Artists covering theatre, television and film.

Previously Jack spent many years as a casting director. With Mark Saks, Jack was the Casting Associate on the Fox series Prodigal Son and the CBS pilot and series, The Code.

Other television includes the series New York News, Going to Extremes, and I’ll Fly Away, as well as a number of television films and many pilots for Warner Brothers Television, Sony Television and Columbia Pictures Television. Films include Dreamgirls, Chicago, and Everything Relative.

With Binder Casting, Jack was involved in the casting of many Broadway shows, including the plays Brighton Beach Memoirs/Broadway Bound (Revival), The 39 Steps, Journey’s End, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (Kathleen Turner/Bill Irwin), The Last Night at Ballyhoo and Lost in Yonkers, among many others. Broadway musicals include Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, The Times They Are-A-Changin’, Urban Cowboy and others.

Jack has also cast many Off Broadway plays and worked at major regional theatres across the country, including Hartford Stage, The Long Wharf, A.C.T., Old Globe, and the Mark Taper Forum (among many others).
