What do agents and casting directors look for in a resume? How to create a cover letter and when to use it. How to send emails that get read. How to use postcards wisely. Do you need a reel? Why? Do you need a website? Why? How to self-submit and what services should you subscribe to and the ones you shouldn't. How do you find out what shows are filming? How do you find out who's casting? What do you need to know about the upcoming pilot season? What you need to know about talent agencies. Scams and how to avoid them. What's the key to landing an agent? Are you ready to be meeting agents? How to prepare for the talent agency interview. What to expect in the agent interview-both legit and commercial. What do you do once you get an agent? What can you do to go from getting auditions to booking roles?
And that's just the start! Over the course of 6 hours, you'll be given an overview of the business of acting and the core fundamentals.
You'll also walk away with your resume created or updated, a cover letter to start using as well as tons of other tools for your business.
Talent is just the beginning. If acting is your passion, then you have to treat it like a career, right down to knowing how to package yourself, how to pursue opportunities, and how to close deals. Tony will of course answer questions as well!

A professional actor since 1991, he has thrilled audiences throughout his performing career from Off-Broadway to numerous regional theatres across the country, to film and tv, concerts and recordings.
For two years, he hosted the national entertainment show PREMIUM TV airing across the United States and in Canada. Some of his other television credits include AS THE WORLD TURNS on CBS, the NBC-TV series CONVICTION as well as ABC-TV's ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Tony also had the honor of being in critically acclaimed American Photographer and Conceptual Artist Laurie Simmon's first feature film-THE MUSIC OF REGRET starring Meryl Streep. Tony can currently be seen in the award winning short film A FAMILY DINNER and the upcoming indie feature film LUCKY N#MBER.
Off-Broadway, he was one of the original cast members for FORBIDDEN BROADWAY 2001: A Spoof Odyssey which was awarded the Drama Desk Award for Best Musical Revue. Tony can also be heard on the original soundtrack for FORBIDDEN BROADWAY 2001 on DRG Records. Memorable performances include 3 different productions of the Kopit-Yeston PHANTOM as the title character, Adam/Noah in CHILDREN OF EDEN at the Human Race Theatre, Lancelot in CAMELOT at the Carousel and the Prince in CINDERELLA at Casa Manana.
An accomplished voice over and on-camera commercial actor, Tony has booked over a 100 commercials for a variety of Fortune 500 companies.
