ON-CAMERA INTENSIVE with Pat McCorkle, Casting Director, McCorkle Casting

We're thrilled to have Pat McCorkle, one of NY's most noted casting directors, back at Actors Connection after far too long! Casting for film, TV and theater, some of Pat's recent credits include the feature films Ghost Town starring Ricky Gervais and Funny Money starring Chevy Chase, Showtime's Californication and The L Word as well as numerous Broadway, national tours and Off-Broadway shows.
For this event, Pat has provided a variety of scenes to choose from that will be made available to you via your AC account upon registration. You are to prepare one scene that you feel represents you. You'll start off with a Q&A, then Pat will be working on-camera using the pre-read format with a reader in a group. Be prepared for feedback and to take re-adjustments on the fly.
Pat is interested in meeting actors of all types and ethnicities 18+ for their numerous upcoming projects.
Acclaimed for casting in all areas, Pat's office has amassed an impressive list of credits that include feature film (Ghost Town, Secret Window, Thomas Crown Affair, School Ties); TV (Californication, The L Word, The Electric Company, Sesame Street, 3lbs., Chapelle's Show); Broadway (Lieutenant Of Inishmore, Glass Menagerie, Amadeus, A Doll's House, She Loves Me, Blood Brothers); and Off-Broadway (The Toxic Avenger, Adding Machine, Almost Maine, Killer Joe, Mrs. Klein). This office also casts theatre projects for The Guthrie, George St. Playhouse, TheaterWorks, Hartford Stage and the Pittsburgh Public. Currently, they are casting the feature films Milo and Premium Rush for Columbia Pictures, the indie films Juction and Patient 001 as well as the off-Broadway plays A Perfect Future and Treasure Island.
