Monday, November 14, 2011, 7pm ET / 4pm PT
This event is in the past.

We are so excited to have one of NY and LA's TOP feature film casting directors in teaching at Actors Connection! With years of experience in casting, Ilene's classes will combine practical aspects of auditioning for film with an examination of some landmark film performances both past and present. You'll gain a foundation of ‘what has come before,' as well as tools you can use when auditioning for casting directors, directors and producers.
Over the course of five weeks, you'll do both cold and prepared readings on camera for Ilene who will offer feedback and direction to polish your performance. Homework will be given in the form of working on scenes and watching films, to be discussed in class. Actors will have the opportunity to discuss what inspires them, and why they are compelled to act.
Ilene will also cover topics such as choosing a headshot, audition etiquette and attire, preparation, listening and how to get the most out of an audition will be covered.
Don't miss this amazing opportunity to work with a casting legend!
