From one of the busiest Broadway casting offices in NY, Actors Connection is thrilled to have Joy teaching this ONE NIGHT ONLY Musical Theater Audition Master Class.
For this Master Class, please prepare 2 contrasting songs and bring your book as Joy may want to hear something additional. The evening will start off with a Q & A, and then each actor will perform for Joy using your prepared material in a group format. She will coach, give direction and offer possible recommendations of material to "check out" if what you are currently using doesn't "work".
Joy has been at Dave Clemmons Casting for 5 years and is always on the lookout for new & exciting talent! Current/recent projects include The Extraordinary Ordinary, The Sphinx Winx, the upcoming Frank Wildhorn Broadway musical of Wonderland, Dear Edwina, Legally Blonde, Fiddler on the Roof, Cats, ‘Swonderful, 101 Dalmatians, Therapy Rocks (NYMF). Past projects include Jesus Christ Superstar (starring Ted Neeley), The Lost Colony, Movin' Out, I Love A Piano, Julie Andrews' The Gift of Music, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Oliver, The King & I, and Elizabeth Streb's dance company. In addition, Joy travels to SETC, UPTA, and the nation's top universities and training programs every year to discover the next generation of our industry's most talented performers. She is a proud member of The Casting Society of America and is the catcher on its undefeated softball team.
