4pm. 2 FULL DAYS!! Saturday, February 26th and Sunday, February 27th Direct from Los Angeles! Mary Lou will be teaching a FULL weekend intensive to help you improve your auditioning skills for Network Television Series as well as TV Pilot Season. Mary Lou believes that actors learn by doing so this is an interactive course where students are on their feet working constantly! She'll be covering several topics including: script analysis for both 1 hr and 1/2 hr material; preparing for the audition itself; on-camera audition technique, inside info for pilot test deals and paperwork; getting the most out of your contacts; and so much more. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the industry's finest! Most recently she directed Monk starring Emmy award winner Tony Shalhoub and The Wizards of Waverly Place on the Disney Channel. On the CW she directed The Game, a series Mary Lou directed for 7 consecutive seasons. She directed the pilot of the Web series 3Way, winner of 2 Logo awards and The AfterEllen.com 2008 Visibility Awards . With over 100 episodes to her credit, Mary Lou directed Living with Fran starring Fran Drescher, Misconceptions starring Jane Leeves, and Eve starring hip hop artist Eve, as well as The Hughleys, Charles in Charge, Major Dad, and Sister, Sister. Mary Lou is also the co-author of three books: The Sitcom Career Book, Acting for Young Actors and Directors Tell the Story. She's been a panelist for Women In Film, the DGA, SAG, and AFTRA and taught master classes at universities all over the world. Many of her students are consistently working actors, some of whom are on various television shows as series regulars and starring in Feature Films .
