Here's a ONE TIME ONLY 2010 opportunity to work 3 weeks with Gayle Keller-one of NY's Top TV/Film Casting Directors. Gayle is gearing up to cast the 2nd Season of the NY TV series LOUIE for FX and just finished casting for 2 Seasons on the hit HBO NY series BORED TO DEATH. This 3-week class will focus on auditioning techniques for television and film from the initial interview to the callback. For the first class, Gayle will work with you on your on-camera interview skills with critique. In class #2, you'll bring into class either a prepared film, TV or theater scene that you feel you would be cast in to work with Gayle on-camera for feedback and adjustments. For your final class, you'll get a TV scene in advance and will prepare it to work on-camera with Gayle. In addition, she'll discuss the casting process from the pre-read to the screen-test, chemistry reads and much more. Gayle Keller is one of New York's most sought after casting directors. Her impressive resume includes a wide variety of television episodics including HBO's Bored to Death, Louie, The No. 1 Detective Ladies Agency, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Conviction, Deadline, Six Degrees and The Unusuals. Her film credits include Life During Wartime (NY Theatre Festival), Forgetting the Girl, Watching TV with the Red Chinese and Welcome to Academia. Limited to 14 actors Please bring a DVD or VHS to class each week. Please note: this class is BY APPROVAL ONLY for actors who have never worked with Gayle before.
