Casting Director Sherri Hodes and working Voice Actor, Paul Liberti bring a new and unique experience to Actors Connection. This class will instantly give you the skills to become the best voice actor you can be. This six week class puts you in an audition situation immediately. You walk in, sign in, pick up the copy, prepare, and after some direction, give your three takes. Simple right? Now here is what most actors never experience at auditions… we go back and take a listen to what you did -- and find out how you really did!! You get to critique your own performance along with the help of a top New York Casting director and a working Voice Actor. Over the six week course you will focus on breaking down copy, and learning how to bring the copy to life, with inside tips and tricks from these two very unique coaches. Then we listen to the actual spot as it was produced on air… and see how your performance compares to the actual booking! One class will even also focus on doubles and how you approach working with a partner in the booth! You'll learn the pitfalls to avoid and techniques that will last a career lifetime. The equation is simple – the better you are at auditioning, the more work you will book. This is your chance to make mistakes and learn from them – and from these two very unique teachers!! Sherri Hodes has been a casting director with Liz Lewis Casting, Jerry Beaver Casting and Nutmeg Casting. Paul Liberti is a working voice actor who has booked hundreds of V/O spots and animated series including Pokemon, Blues Clues, Disney's – Pinky Dinky Doo, Saturday Night Live Cartoons and Sesame Street. He's also been an actor on Broadway as well as film and TV. Limited TO 12 ADVANCED V/O actors!
