Allison Twardziak is a New York City based Feature Film and Commercial Casting Director.

She’s cast over 70 shorts and 30 feature films which have premiered at Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, The Clermont Film Festival and Cannes.

She recently cast, Sam McConnell’s feature film, ‘Test’ which premiered at SXSW London in 2026, Alex Bendo’s SXSW 2026’s Jury Award Winning Independent TV Pilot, “In My Blood,” Tina Romero’s Tribeca Film 2025’s Audience Award Winner ‘Queens of the Dead’ , Laura Moss’s ‘birth/rebirth’ which premiered at Sundance in 2023, received 3 Spirit Award Nominations (Best Lead Performance, Best Screenplay and Someone to Watch) and an Artios Award Nomination for Best Casting.

Stewart Thorndike’s ‘Bad Things’ at Tribeca, now streaming on Shudder, Josef Kubota Wladyka’s Catch the Fair One produced by Mollye Asher (Nomadland), exec produced by Darren Aronofksy and Winner of the Audience Award at Tribeca in 2021. Tim Sutton’s Funny Face which premiered at The Berlin International Film Festival, Feb 2020.

Intensive Overview:

For this in person intensive, Allison will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. The event will start with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with our reader on-camera in a group. Be prepared to receive feedback and adjustments.

You'll work with her as she coaches you through your scene in a format that replicates her office's casting process. Allison will provide constructive feedback along with on-camera audition tips that she feels are imperative to booking roles professionally.

Allison is interested in meeting new talent - all types - all ethnicities (18+).

Please note that this in person intensive will be at:

Pearl Studios NYC
500 8th Avenue, 3rd, 4th and 12th floors
(between 35th and 36th)

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

What to Prepare:

For this intensive, Allison will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

Assignments will be emailed 1-3 day in advance. 

Payment:

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.
