Here's your chance to Showcase to THREE NY agencies in that represent talent for Musical Theater. 

You'll get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.

You'll also receive written feedback that will be given to you after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.

For this showcase, please prepare TWO contrasting 16-bar cuts.

Please note that this in person seminar will be at:

Pearl Studios NYC
500 8th Avenue, 3rd, 4th and 12th floors
(between 35th and 36th)

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

EVENT OVERVIEW:

This in-person event will start with a 20-30 minute Q&A with everyone in the studio.

Afterwards, you will be showcasing to the panel by appointment. Q&A is optional to attend but we recommend.

You’ll be given your appointment times in advance in EST.

Please show up at least 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time, and please be aware that timing issues can occur but your host will keep you updated while you are waiting.

We kindly ask that you do not request to alter your appointment time.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this Agent Showcase, please prepare TWO contrasting 16 bar cuts. Please bring your book. An accompanist will be provided.

  • The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Zach Earnest

Zach Earnest is an associate at Gray Talent Group’s New York Theater department, which he joined in 2024 after working for the Stewart Talent agency for two years.

He is a graduate of Emerson College’s Visual Media Arts program, and a proud member of the Emerson mafia. He has directed two short films—Ipswich and The Lost Son that earned accolades from The Garden State Film Festival and Austin Film Festival respectively. It was on these sets that he realized his passion for working with actors and crafting compelling performances.

He uses his experience from working in Hollywood to assist clients in booking roles both on and off of Broadway, and is deeply passionate about enshrining creativity and artistry in New York theater. When he isn’t on the clock, you can usually find Zach biking around Manhattan or getting roasted in the front row and a stand-up comedy show!

Barry Kolker

Barry Kolker has been in the talent agency business for 35 years. Barry and his associates, Tory Wilmoth and Skye Boomer, represent adults, children and teens for theater, film and television.

This season they had clients on Broadway in Beaches, Joe Turner's Come And Gone, Chess and Ragtime. Currently, they have clients on Broadway in The Lion King, The Lost Boys and Hamilton.

Clients are on tour in The Sound Of Music, Beetlejuice, Hamilton and & Juliet.

Barry currently has four clients who are series regulars. Matthew Lamb is on High Potential, Aliyah Mastin is on Paradise, Emmy Liu-Wang will be seen on Hollywood Arts and Levi Chrisopulos will be seen on Percy Jackson & The Olympians.

Clients' film credits include The Life Of Chuck, Playdate, Tiny Fugitives, The Optimist: The Bravest Act Is Truth, Lost On A Mountain In Maine, Little Brother, Animals, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

Barry has a B.F.A. in Acting from LIU/C.W. Post.
