Our Commercial Agent Showcase is a MUST for all on-camera commercial actors currently seeking agency representation or wanting to bump up to a new career level.

Please bring in one piece of 30 second on-camera commercial copy that you connect to and prepare it for this showcase.

You'll also receive written feedback that will be given to you after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.

Advice and verbal feedback will be received and will immediately affect your audition results!

Please note that this in person showcase will be at:

Pearl Studios NYC
500 8th Avenue, 3rd, 4th and 12th floors
(between 35th and 36th)

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

Showcase Overview:

This live event will start with a 20-30 minute Q&A with everyone in the studio.

Afterwards, you will be showcasing to the panel by appointment. Q&A is optional to attend but we recommend.

You’ll be given your appointment times in advance in EST.

Please show up at least 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time, and please be aware that timing issues can occur but your host will keep you updated while you are waiting.

We kindly ask that you do not request to alter your appointment time.

What to Prepare:

Please choose one piece of 30 second on-camera commercial copy that you connect to and prepare it for this event. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

**Actors Connection classes and programming are for ADULTS (18+). With permission, some teens (14+) are allowed to take adult programming. To inquire about getting permission, please send an email to: info@actorsconnection.com**

Doug Kesten

Previously at KMR, Doug recently opened the new NY on-camera commercial division for this established West Coast agency.

He's recently booked his clients in commercials for: Bud Light, Persil, E*Trade, Eliquis, White Castle, Cologuard, FanDuel, Fifth Third Bank, US Cellular and VitaminWater.

Jessica Hondel

Jessica Hondel is a talent agent at MSA Agency, where she leads the NY Adult Commercial and Print division as well as the New York youth division (MSA KATS).

Before moving behind the table, Jessica grew up as a competitive dancer who trained extensively in dance, singing, and acting. Her firsthand experience as a performer deeply informs her approach as an agent, allowing her to guide clients with both artistic insight and strategic industry knowledge.

In addition to her agency work, she serves as the Associate Dance Director at Broadway Artists Alliance in New York City, one of the country’s top youth training programs.

Throughout her career at MSA, Jessica has proudly booked clients on many high-profile projects in Television, Film, Theatre, Dance, Commercials and Print. She is deeply committed to supporting her clients as they pursue their goals and navigate successful careers in the entertainment industry.

Maxine Stillwagon

Maxine is an Agent for the Commercial, Voice Over & Print departments at Take 3 Talent, where she brings a dynamic and comprehensive approach to talent representation.

With a robust background in directing, casting assistance, film festival management, and production, she offers a uniquely holistic perspective that enriches her work with every client. A graduate of Montclair State University with a BFA in Acting, Maxine blends her creative roots with sharp industry insight to fiercely advocate for the success and growth of each actor on the roster.

Her dedication has directly contributed to closing major deals for clients with top-tier brands such as Target, Deer Park, CeraVe, American Express, Heineken, Miu Miu, Apple, Nike, People Magazine, Snapchat, Hero Cosmetics, Colgate, NASCAR, and many more.

When she isn’t busy pestering you with follow up emails, you will find her visiting her Michigan hometown (to see the family dog, of course!), or somewhere overusing the word ‘slay.’

Axel Manica

Growing up in love with the arts, Axel went to school for musical theatre before awakening his true passion through agency work. Having worked with Ann Steele, DDO, and now BEA Axel spends every day excited to spend all of his energy advocating for those he believes in.
