Zoom: ADVANCED VOICE-OVER Intensive with Carrie Faverty, Casting Director, Carrie Faverty Casting

Carrie Faverty has been a voice over casting director for over 20 years.

She runs Carrie Faverty Casting, but previously was the in-house casting director at two of New York City's premier recording studios, Heard City and Sound Lounge. 

In her decades of work, Carrie has cast voice overs for thousands of products, both union and non union. Her casting spans from tv and radio commercials to animated pilots, narrations, video games, audiobooks, and anything else audio-related.

Intensive Overview:

For this virtual intensive, Carrie will provide a packet of VO scripts with instructions for you to pre-record a VO script from the packet and send that to her before class so that you can work on it together in her intensive.

She will focus on script analysis and getting to know your best voice and your best reads, and how to "find yourself" in commercial voice over copy.

Carrie will also work on acquiring the skills to quickly solve confusing copy/muddled direction and other common issues that actors will face in voice over auditions.

What to Prepare:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.
