Ross is an Artios Award Nominated, NYC based Casting Director who is currently an Associate Casting Director at Kate Geller Casting (Shiva Baby, Nine Days, Don't Think Twice), where his primary focus is on independent film and narrative podcasts.

He has also worked with Taylor Williams and Billy Hopkins on theater and television series. On his own, he has cast short films and an independent pilot.

Selected film credits include: Bob Trevino Likes It (Roadside Attractions), The Front Room (A24), Omni Loop (Magnolia), Cora Bora (Brainstorm), The Good Half (Utopia), Drugstore June (Utopia), Idiotka (Utopia), Oh, Hi! (Sony), Molli & Max In The Future (Level 33), Barron’s Cove (Well Go), and Cold Wallet (Well Go).

Intensive Overview:

The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

This intensive is for adults and teens (13+).

Please note that this in person intensive will be at:

Pearl Studios NYC
500 8th Avenue, 3rd, 4th and 12th floors
(between 35th and 36th)

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this intensive, Ross will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

Assignments will be emailed at least 24 hours in advance.

IN ADDITION: Please bring TWO HARD COPIES of your scene - one highlighted FOR THE READER

BA in Theater/Jewish & Israel Studies from Wesleyan; MFA in Performance Studies from the University of Louisville. He has previously taught/directed at UofL, UW-Madison, Actors Connection, BCTR, Kimball Studios, Stonestreet Studios, SJP Voice Studio, and Adult Film NYC. He is a Certified Teacher with the National Michael Chekhov Association.
