In Person: MUSICAL THEATER Masterclass with Jamibeth Margolis, CSA, Casting Director, Jamibeth Margolis Casting And Productions

AC is thrilled to welcome the always busy Jamibeth Margolis to teach this One Night Only Musical Theater Master Class!

Her previous credits include the Broadway and National Touring Companies of such hits as Les Miserables, The Phantom Of The Opera, Miss Saigon, Cats, and Jane Eyre as well as two dozen other shows on Broadway.

Jamibeth cast HARMONY on Broadway last season.

Currently casting for Maine State Music Theatre and Fulton Theatre as well as many readings, workshops, benefits and recordings of new musicals and plays for streaming platforms. 

Recent theatre casting: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF In Yiddish (Off Broadway/Artios Award Winner For Casting and Toronto Company) and HOUSE OF MCQUEEN (Off Broadway).

Intensive Overview:

For this Master Class, please prepare 2 contrasting 16 bar cuts and please bring your book as Jamibeth may want to hear something additional.

The evening will start off with a Q & A, and then each actor will perform for her using your prepared material in a group format. She will coach, give direction and work your material over the course of the evening.

Jamibeth is interested in working with actors of ALL TYPES - ALL AGES (18+).

An accompanist will be provided.

(between 35th and 36th)

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Jamibeth Margolis

Jamibeth Margolis has more than twenty years experience as a professional casting director in New York.

She was with Johnson-Liff Casting Associates, Cameron Mackintosh, and Margolis-Seay Casting and is now out on her own as a freelance casting director.

Previous credits include the Broadway and National Touring Companies of such mega hits as Les Miserables, The Phantom Of The Opera, Miss Saigon, Cats, and Jane Eyre as well as two dozen other shows on Broadway.

She currently casts for Broadway, Off- Broadway, National Touring Companies, The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene, Plaza Theatricals in Elmont, NY, concerts, and shows for prominent regional theaters and many of the major theater festivals in NYC. Her casting office is dedicated to the development of new plays and musicals. Additional casting credits include multiple television pilots and on camera industrials for major US companies.
