In Person: TV INTENSIVE with Josy Rodriguez, Associate Casting Director, Bowling/Miscia Casting

Tuesday, April 28, 2026, 6:30pm ET / 3:30pm PT

From one of NY's busiest TV casting office, Josy's credits include BLUE BLOODS, FBI and the Taylor Sheridan limited series SPECIAL OPS: LIONESS for Paramount+.

Her projects include the new CBS series BOSTON BLUE.

Intensive Overview:

For this intensive, Josy will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

You'll work with her in a group as she coaches you through your scene in a format that replicates her office's casting process.

The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group.

She'll provide you with constructive feedback along with on-camera audition tips that she feels are imperative to booking roles on a professional level.

Please note that this in person intensive will be at:

Pearl Studios NYC
500 8th Avenue, 3rd, 4th and 12th floors
(between 35th and 36th)

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

What to Prepare:

Based on your HS/resume, Josy will select sides for you which will be emailed to you to prepare in 1-3 days in advance. PLEASE NOTE: Once scenes have been distributed, if you late cancel you will not be replaced!

Payment:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Josy Rodriguez

Born and Raised in East Harlem, New York, Josy Rodriguez is a New York native through and through. Starting her career for Bowling Miscia Casting in 2013, she began as an intern where she worked on "Hostages" (CBS) and "Blue Bloods" Season 3, where she moved up to Casting Assistant during season 4 & 5, becoming an Associate for Season 6 - 10 and eventually, becoming Casting Director in Season 10.

Other bodies of work include Gotham (FOX) Season 1-5, Hightown Season 1 , Pilot casting for "Difficult People'', 3 seasons of the hit Amazon series "Harlem" and Season 1 of "Special Ops: Lioness". She has also worked on several short films which include the Spike Lee produced "Rainbow Ruthie", the IMDb Independent Shorts Award winning "MA", "Killing Evan", Artios nominated "S.P.I.C.", "Self-Tape", "The Adventures of Benedict Arnold", and most recently "Chronic". She just wrapped the final season of Blue Bloods and is currently working on season 7 of FBI.
