Don't miss this fast paced and fun day working on storytelling and character development with NY Casting Director Alaine Alldaffer.

Alaine's Broadway casting credits include Stereophonic, A Strange Loop, Grey Gardens, and Clybourne Park as well as 27 years on staff at Playwrights Horizons.

Her focus for this all day intensive will be on strengthening your acting skills by using well written theater text.

In your morning session, the emphasis will be on process; Making choices that tells the best story for the character while simultaneously serving the story overall.

After a lunch break, you'll spend the afternoon working on new contrasting scenes. These scenes will be assigned prior to the lunch break. The goal is to take what you've learned from the morning session and bring your work to the next level in the afternoon session.

This is a creative workout for your brain and spirit in a supportive and judgment free environment.

Alaine is always interested in meeting trained actors of all types-all ethnicities-all ages (18+) for their many projects.
