With more original content than Amazon Prime VideoHulu, and Disney Plus, Netflix series provide talent with incredible opportunities to grow both as actors and to build their credits.

We're excited to have THREE top Casting pro's who have cast for a wide variety of NETFLIX TV series and features.

This online showcase will start off with a virtual Q&A.

Then, you'll then be showcasing in a group format to our panel. You'll work with a reader and get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.

This panel includes:

What to Prepare:

For this event, please bring in your own scene of choice (no longer than 2 pages) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration).

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

  • Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.

Alexis Allen Winter

Alexis Allen started casting in the southeast on productions such as One Tree HillEastbound and Down, and We're the Millers. She made the move to Los Angeles in 2012 and has worked most notably for Laray Mayfield, Rich Delia, Courtney Bright/Nicole Daniels, Tamara Notcutt, and Sheila Jaffe in recent years.  More recent credits include include Breakthru, Step-Up High Water, and The Nun.

She is passionate about actors and creating a more efficient casting process that benefits everyone, while bringing her industry into the 21st century by utilizing the technological tools that are at our fingertips. Her classes focus on audition and self tape tips, as well as how-to's for new and developing actors in representation, headshots, and submissions.

Jordan Brown

Jordan Brown was born and raised in Kentucky before diving into the film industry.

She was the Casting Director for Beast Beast (Ornana Films - World Premiere Sundance)ONLY (World Premiere Tribeca)Summer 03 (Available on Amazon), Mine 9 (Available on Amazon and Netflix), You're Killing Me (Available on Amazon) and upcoming productions Devil's Playground and Othermor

She enjoys bringing compelling talent to powerful independent films. Casting since 2017.

Ally Bader

Ally has been a casting professional for over fifteen years, working in both film and television.

As an associate casting director, her recent credits include Shelter for Amazon and American Horror Story for FX.

She spent three years as the lead casting associate to Jane Jenkins and Janet Hirshenson prior to their retirement, where she worked on multiple feature films for such directors as Ron Howard, Rob Reiner and Chris Columbus. Ally is a 2016 Heller Award nominee for Casting Associate of the Year, and was nominated for a 2015 Artios Award for her work with Bialy/Thomas and Associates on the pilot for AMCs Halt and Catch Fire. She was nominated for an Artios Award in 2024 for her work on Murderville for Netflix.

She also spent 4 years on the Board of Directors for the Casting Society, and remains very involved with the organization volunteering her time on multiple committees.
