Zoom: AUDITIONING for SERIES REGULAR ROLES - Online Intensive with Dani Markowitz, Freelance Casting Associate

We're excited to have Dani in teaching this online intensive focused on auditioning and booking series regular roles for television series and pilots.

For the past four years, her focus was on series regular and major recurring roles for television pilots.

Her recent redits include Fantasmas (HBO Max), Pachinko (Apple TV+), and Demimonde (HBO Max - pilot). 

Other TV credits including ABC's THE GOOD DOCTOR, Hulu's LOVE VICTOR, THE WILDS on Amazon Prime and THE MIGHTY DUCKS: GAME CHANGERS on Disney +.

Dani will assist you in connecting auditioning as an opportunity to do what you love to do: act. Trouble shooting what's in your way and working with you on developing strategies for your next auditions.

The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

What to Prepare:

For this virtual intensive, Dani will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

Assignments will be emailed at least 24 hours in advance. - DANI PREFERS ACTORS TO BE AS OFF-BOOK AS POSSIBLE!

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.

Dani Markowitz

Dani Markowitz (she/her) is a casting professional who has worked in network television, film, and theatre casting.

Credits include Fantasmas (HBO Max), Pachinko (Apple TV+), and Demimonde (HBO Max - pilot). 

Dani previously worked for several years in the casting department for a major primetime network with a focus on series regular and major recurring roles.

Dani started her career as the Casting Associate for Olney Theatre Center in the Washington, D.C. region and has worked part-time for New York Theatre Workshop. Prior to her network casting experience, Dani worked at Innovative Artists Agency in their talent & comedy departments, giving her a unique perspective on both talent representation and casting.
