We're excited to have Erica in teaching this intensive focused on auditioning and booking roles that are five lines and under for television series and pilots.

Her extensive TV casting credits include Queens (ABC), Love Life (HBO Max), Dickinson (Apple TV+), Lipstick Jungle (NBC), Hope and Faith (ABC) and The Path (Hulu).

Film credits include: iOrigins (Sundance), Another Earth (Sundance Jury Prize Winner 2011), That’s What She Said (Sundance), and Armless (Sundance).

Intensive Overview:

Erica will assist you in connecting auditioning as an opportunity to do what you love to do: act. Trouble shooting what's in your way and working with you on developing strategies for your next auditions.

The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

She's interested in seeing committed actors looking for honest and constructive feedback.

This intensive is for adult actors (18+).

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

What to Prepare:

For this intensive, Erica will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

Assignments will be emailed 24-48 hours in advance. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Erica Jensen

Erica officially became a Black business owner when Calleri Casting was formed. As one third of the Artios-Award winning team of Calleri Jensen Davis she has worked steadily in film, television and theater for over 20 years.

Erica’s career began with an internship in the casting office at Playwrights Horizons, which is where she met James Calleri and discovered a love for casting. Her internship led to a position as the Talent Coordinator on Comedy Central’s Chappelle’s Show during its second season. She returned to work with James when he was hired to cast the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith. Shortly after, Calleri Casting was officially formed and has been her professional home ever since. In addition to her work in casting, Erica is a faculty member at The New School where she teaches Acting As A Business and Industry Showcase. She is the Industry Mentor for the graduate students at Brown/Trinity Rep.

Originally from Tampa, FL., Erica moved to New York City after graduate school in 2000. She currently resides in Brooklyn where she is raising her daughter. She enjoys spending time with her dog, running marathons, watching TV and yoga. Erica was named American Theater magazine's Top Theater Workers you should know in 2017. Erica holds an MFA in Acting from Illinois State University. She is a proud member of the Casting Society of America.
