In Person: 3 Week THEATER Class with PLAYWRIGHTS HORIZONS Lisa Donadio, Casting Director

REGISTER NOW for this in person 3 WEEK theater class with this Casting Director for Playwrights Horizons, one of the most highly respected Off-Broadway Theaters in New York City.
Casting for over 15 years with Alaine Alldaffer, Lisa's credits include: Stereophonic (B’way, PH, National Tour), Clybourne Park (B’way and PH), Prince F****T, Downstate, A Strange Loop, Heroes of the Fourth Turning, The Thanksgiving Play, The Flick (Barrow Street and PH), Dance Nation, Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play.
Besides Playwrights Horizons, they also cast for Classic Stage Company, Tent Theater, Hartford Stage, TheaterWorks Hartford, Huntington Theatre, The Old Globe in San Diego, WP Theater, The Play Company, Kitchen Theatre Company, Seattle Rep, and ACT in San Francisco.
Class Overview:
For your first class, Lisa will have received your headshots ahead of time and "cast" each actor in a theater scene, which you will be sent via email 1-2 days in advance.
The night will start off with a Q&A, and then you will read your sides with a reader.
Be prepared for awesome feedback and training that will impact your auditions immediately.
In the second week, you'll be paired with a scene partner from class to perform different material assigned by Lisa. You will get to work on 2-3 plays in her class.
In the third week, Lisa will bring in an industry guest- a casting director, producer, or director. You will be paired up with a classmate to perform scenes, and the class will end with a Q&A.
Lisa is always interested in meeting trained actors of all types-all ethnicities-all ages (18+) for their many projects.
Lisa is interested in seeing committed actors looking for honest and constructive feedback.

WHAT TO PREPARE:
For this class, Lisa will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. IN ADDITION: Please bring TWO HARD COPIES of your scene - one highlighted FOR THE READER.
Assignments will be emailed at least 24 hours in advance.

The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.
