In Person: MUSICAL THEATER Masterclass with JARRETT REICHE, Casting Director, ARC

AC is thrilled to welcome Jarrett in to teach this One Night Only Musical Theater Master Class!

At ARC, he casts for Broadway to National Tours to Regional Theatre.

As a full-time Casting Director at ARC, some select active/recent credits within the office include DISNEY’S THE LION KING (Broadway & Tour / Julie Taymor), CHICAGO (Broadway & Tour / Walter Bobbie), August Wilson’s JOE TURNER'S COME AND GONE (Broadway *Upcoming*), A WONDERFUL WORLD (Broadway / Christopher Renshaw, James Monroe Iglehart, and Christina Sajous), OTHELLO (Broadway / Kenny Leon), REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES (Broadway / Sergio Trujillo), LIFE OF PI (Tour), PETER PAN (Tour), THE MUSIC MAN (Tour), ELF: The Musical (Tour), IMMEDIATE FAMILY (Blumenthal Arts), ROMEO & JULIET (A.R.T.), GATSBY (A.R.T.), THE CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR Starring the Radio City Rockettes (Radio City Music Hall), and MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING (Ogunquit), among numerous other projects across theater and live entertainment.

Jarrett is interested in working with actors of ALL TYPES - ALL AGES (13+).

Intensive Overview:

The evening will start off with a Q & A, and then each actor will perform for him using your prepared material in a group format.

For this Master Class, please bring in 2 contrasting 16/32-bar cuts to sing and work on with Jarrett. These should be songs that you use often in audition spaces but also songs that you LOVE to sing and show a little bit about your personality and your aces (the things you know that you can do well and make you stand out).

He will coach, give direction and offer honest, constructive feedback on your audition material if what you are currently using doesn't “work".

An accompanist will be provided.

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.
