M'saada just finished casting two features and her next projects include casting two indie feature films!

Her recent redits include the FLORA & ULYSSES for Disney+, the features A WRINKLE IN TIME, SELMA, SXSW film THE QUARRY, the NAACP Image award winning series QUEEN SUGAR and the Amazon Prime series SAND AND SNOW.

Intensive Overview:

You'll work with M'saada online in a group as she coaches you on determining your type + cold reading / "making a scene."

She will lead some guided exercises in figuring out types and then spontaneous scene generation during the class that will be performed cold. 

She'll provide you with constructive feedback along with on-camera audition tips that she feels are imperative to booking roles on a professional level.

For this intensive, M'saada will select cold sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

What to Prepare:

Based on your HS/resume, M'saada will select cold sides for you which you will receive in the intensive.

With over 150+ credits and more than a decade of experience, M'saada served for three years as a casting executive at The Walt Disney Company (working on shows such as: GROWN-ISH, QUEENIE, THE OTHER BLACK GIRL & THE WATCHFUL EYE) and previously having worked in freelance casting on studio & indie features, blockbuster video games, pilots & network series, live action and animated series, new media projects, commercials & music videos (several projects were Oscar or Emmy or NAACP or BAFTA award nominated). 

She was a member of the casting teams of renowned Casting Directors Emily Schweber (FLORA & ULYSSES for Disney+, SXSW film THE QUARRY, and triple A title video games STAR WARS: JEDI FALLEN ORDER and CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE), Aisha Coley (Oscar winning film SELMA, NAACP Image award winning series QUEEN SUGAR & Disney feature WRINKLE IN TIME) and Donna Morong (SEE YOU THEN, HOW TO DETER A ROBBER). 

As the lead casting director and founder of Copasetic Casting, M'saada has been a staunch advocate of actors and has discovered loads of exciting, new talent.  Additionally, she cast ADR/loop groups for features, series and made for TV movies for Netflix, Amazon, Hallmark and Lifetime among others.  A few of her recent casting credits include the feature films "The Barista" and "The Last Rodeo" (ADR/Loop Group).
