Here's your chance to Showcase to THREE NY agencies in that represent talent for Musical Theater. 

You'll get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.

You'll also receive written feedback that will be given to you after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.

For this showcase, please prepare TWO contrasting 32-bar cuts.

Please note that this in person showcase will be at:

Pearl Studios NYC

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

Pearl Studios has two addresses:

500 8th Avenue, 3rd and 4th floors

and across the street
519 8th Avenue, 12th floor
(between 35th and 36th)

EVENT OVERVIEW:

This in-person event will start with a 20-30 minute Q&A with everyone in the studio.

Afterwards, you will be showcasing to the panel by appointment. Q&A is optional to attend but we recommend.

You’ll be given your appointment times in advance in EST.

Please show up at least 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time, and please be aware that timing issues can occur but your host will keep you updated while you are waiting.

We kindly ask that you do not request to alter your appointment time.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this Agent Showcase, please prepare TWO contrasting 32 bar cuts. Please bring your book. An accompanist will be provided.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Barry Kolker

Barry has been in the talent agency business for 33 years. Barry and his team represent adults and children for theater, film and TV.

Current Broadway bookings include MJ, The Book Of Mormon, GYPSY, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Stranger Things: The First Shadow.

Current national tour bookings include MJ, Hamilton, Peter Pan, Annie and The Lion King.

He currently has clients who are series regulars on High Potential and the HULU series Paradise City. Past series regular bookings include Raising DionSingle ParentsThe Watcher and Raven's Home.

Client's film credits include Lost on a Mountain in Maine, Avenue of the Giants, Tiny Fugitives, two in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Playdate, The Slumber Party and Life of Chuck.

Barry has a BFA in Acting from LIU/CW Post.

Sean McKnight

Sean McKnight is a talent agent with The Hybrid Agency – a New York-based boutique whose select roster of clients can be seen nightly on Broadway, tour, and stages across the world, as well as playing regular roles on TV and film.

Prior to switching his focus to representation, he was a performer whose list of credits include the Broadway and/or National Tours of: Anything Goes, Shrek, A Christmas Story, Curtains, The Producers, 42nd Street, Cinderella, Annie Get Your Gun, and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. He appeared in numerous productions for City CenterEncores! as well as the Kennedy Center productions of Ragtime, Carnival!, and Mame. An Ovation! Award and LA Drama Critics Circle Award nominee for choreography, Mr. McKnight holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of Michigan and an MA in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship from The New School. 

Kiki Sabater

Kiki Sabater’s career began in the theatre where she studied performing arts from middle school to college, with studies in musical theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a degree in Theatre Arts from Rollins College.

She made her way into the casting and agency worlds as a reader for NYC casting offices and a talent agency intern. After a hiatus to travel the world as a flight attendant, Kiki found her way back to the world of the arts and found her home at Bonafide & Emerging Artists. Kiki is thrilled to start this year with BEA as their theatrical agent, committed to their model of inclusivity and diversity through the talent she represents.

Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Kiki is an avid surfer and in her free time, can be found anywhere there are good waves. Kiki is also a published author of mixed media art books with her second book set to be released in Spring 2024. When she’s not writing or surfing, Kiki loves playing her white Fender Telecaster and singing 90s grunge.
