From one of the busiest TV and film casting office in NYC, here's a rare opportunity to work with this major TV Casting Associate whose projects include new shows for Paramount+ and AMC.

John's TV casting credits include:  "The Good Wife", "The Good Fight”, "Medium", "Dirt", and "NUMB3RS"

Recent pilot casting includes: "Capitol Law" and "Elsbeth" both for CBS.

Other credits include the A&E miniseries, "Coma”, US consulting on the Starz miniseries "Pillars of the Earth" and its sequel "World Without End" for Reelz, the “Klondike” miniseries for Discovery, “BrainDead” for CBS, two seasons of the limited series “Mercy Street” for PBS, “Prodigal Son” for FOX as well as many years on “Madam Secretary” for CBS.

In 2012, he shared the Artios award (Best Casting in a Drama Series) with Mark Saks for their work on "The Good Wife."

EVENT OVERVIEW:

This intensive will start with an informational talk followed by a Q/A. John will cover on-camera auditioning as well as the differences between approaching series regular material versus guest and co-starring roles on TV.

He'll select sides for you which will be emailed in advance. Each actor will get to work on-camera in a group format with John and receive adjustments and feedback on choices and preparedness.

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

Pearl Studios has two addresses:

500 8th Avenue, 3rd and 4th floors
and across the street
519 8th Avenue, 12th floor
(between 35th and 36th)

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this intensive, John will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

Assignments will be emailed at least 24 hours in advance. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

John Andrews

John began his casting career in Boston with Carolyn Pickman, CSA where they worked on principal location casting for the Warner Bros feature "The Departed" and principal casting for Showtime's "Brotherhood."  They also did a slew of commercials, industrials and national search projects. 

In Los Angeles, he worked at FMW Casting on "Cold Case" and joined Mark Saks, CSA on the "Capitol Law" pilot for CBS.  He went on to work with Mark on several seasons of "NUMB3RS", "Medium" and "Dirt" among other projects before moving to New York to work as Mark's associate on all seasons of "The Good Wife" and, later, "The Good Fight.”
