Here's an incredible opportunity to work with a popular UK-based Casting Associate with credits on recent pop culture hits such as "Wednesday" and "Ted Lasso"

For this event, please prepare a 2-3 page Film/TV scene that you feel showcases your strengths as an actor. You'll start off with a virtual Q&A, and then Olissa will begin working with you opposite a reader, in a group format. Be prepared for feedback and adjustments.

What to Prepare:

For this intensive, please prepare a scene of choice that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. You can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration), OR bring in your own 2-3 page scene. 

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

 

PLEASE FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES LISTED BELOW:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Olissa Rogers

Olissa Rogers is a freelance Casting Director who began working in the industry in Germany back in 2008. In 2016 Olissa began working with one of the world's most prolific casting directors Jeremy Zimmerman assisting on the production of numerous feature films. In 2018 she moved on to become a casting assistant to Kharmel Cochrane for commercials and TV/Film projects. In March 2019 Olissa was approached by Theo Park to assist in the casting of large-scale TV projects such as Ted Lasso. Thereafter Olissa went on to work with Amy Hubbard casting and then Fiona Weir best known for the Harry Potter Films.
