New! Online FILM/TV INTENSIVE with Crystal T. Williams, Casting Director / Producer

With ten years of independent casting experience in the film industry, Crystal T. Williams began her artistic career as an actor in local theater and film productions in NYC. However after a friend needed casting assistance with his short film she discovered her love for casting. Crystal took on the Casting Director role and her love of the craft of casting was born. Crystal also worked with CUNY Cat as a teaching Artist for some time.

Crystal has been the Producer and Casting Director for the following feature films: The In-Law Gang, I Love Juliet, Stepping into Love and Sisters(BET). All are set to come out in 2023. Crystal just wrapped up casting for the independent feature Nanticoke, due to go into production Summer 2023. She is currently casting a documentary with Emmy Award winning Producer Anthony Hemmingway, a feature film and will begin casting the upcoming series this Fall.

EVENT OVERVIEW:

The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group.

Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this virtual intensive, Crystal will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

Assignments will be emailed at least 24 hours in advance. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.
