Showcase to THREE Personal Management Companies in NYC and get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.

You'll also receive written feedback that will be emailed to you after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.

EVENT OVERVIEW:

The afternoon of the event, you’ll be given your appointment times in EST.

The event will start with a 30 minute Q&A with everyone in the room. Then you will be admitted one by one and get 5 minutes in the room with the guests, including your performance. After your time slot you are free to leave for the evening (hit “Leave Meeting” button).

Please show up at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time, and please be aware that technical issues can occur but your host will keep you updated while you are in the waiting room.

We kindly ask that you do not request to alter your appointment time.

-The host will open the ‘room’ at least 30 minutes before the start of class. You’re welcome to arrive during this time to run your scene with the host.

-Actors will be automatically sent to the ‘waiting room’. The host will admit the actors as they arrive. 

-The host or the guests will give the spiel on how the class will run with any special notes, and begin the lesson plan.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this event, please bring in your own scene of choice (no more than 2 minutes in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration).

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

  • Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.

Henry Ravelo

Henry Ravelo - president of 6 Degrees Worldwide Entertainment, an Entertainment Consulting, Influencer Marketing & Digital, Linear & Live Producing Company specializing in LGBTQ+ Branded Talent (including RuPaul Drag Race queens & many trans Talent in POSE & others) & Allies. Henry is a veteran Broadway, TV & film actor. He is a Master Audition Coach having taught a number of award winners, nominees, series regulars & broadway triple threats throughout the years. He originally began his management career while booking High Fashion models at the agency that created the first male supermodel. His background & expertise made him an ideal fit to head the Entertainment Division; helping models book acting work on TV shows, movies & beyond.

Victoria Thompson

Victoria Thompson (Shaffer) is the founder and owner of RAVE Talent Management. She graduated from Rider University with a degree in communications and public relations, and immediately began working for renowned personal talent manager Eileen DeNobile of Noble Talent Management. Victoria worked at Noble Talent for a decade, becoming a management associate while learning from an industry-esteemed talent manager.

In 2017, RAVE Talent Management was founded to continue providing reputable career guidance for exceptional talent. Victoria’s ability to counsel and think outside the box has proven instrumental in securing talent opportunities. She has a natural eye for identifying talent and determining necessary steps for further progress, and she prides herself on being compassionate and a constant and positive professional resource. Victoria has helped successful actors break into the industry by setting goals, perfecting casting materials, signing with agencies, and navigating and ever-changing entertainment landscape. She is a member of the National Conference of Personal Managers (NCOPM).

Morgan Castilla

Morgan Castilla Is an associate talent manager and producer at New York based management and development company PH Entertainment Group. Prior to her career in talent representation she spent several years in casting, holding internships with Sesame Street and Nickelodeon, and eventually an assistant position with Adrienne Stern Casting. Her passion for working closely with actors on building their careers led her to a career in management.

She now co represents clients in all areas of film, television, and theater, whom can be seen in upcoming feature film Disney’s The Pocketwatch, upcoming television series' Clean Slate (which she also assists in producing), Career Opportunities in Murder & Mayhem, The Penguin and currently airing, Blue Bloods, The Company You Keep, Little America, FBI, And Just Like That, The Equalizer, Law & Order: Organized Crime, and Poker Face (to name a few).

Her clients span the ages from children to adults.
