Showcase to THREE legit agencies in NYC and get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.
You'll also receive written feedback that will be emailed to you after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.
This panel includes:

- Jackie Gubow, Gray Talent Group - New to Office!
- Dave Secor, Daniel Hoff Agency - Bi-Coastal Office!

EVENT OVERVIEW:
The afternoon of the event, you’ll be given your appointment times in EST.
The event will start with a 30 minute Q&A with everyone in the room. Then you will be admitted one by one and get 5 minutes in the room with the guests, including your performance. After your time slot you are free to leave for the evening (hit “Leave Meeting” button).
Please show up at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time, and please be aware that technical issues can occur but your host will keep you updated while you are in the waiting room.
We kindly ask that you do not request to alter your appointment time.
-The host will open the ‘room’ at least 30 minutes before the start of class. You’re welcome to arrive during this time to run your scene with the host.
-Actors will be automatically sent to the ‘waiting room’. The host will admit the actors as they arrive.
-The host or the guests will give the spiel on how the class will run with any special notes, and begin the lesson plan.

WHAT TO PREPARE:
For this event, please bring in your own scene of choice (no more than 2 minutes in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration).
Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.

If you have an emergency for a class you are participating in outside of these hours, please email help@actorsconnection.com and your host will be able to respond.

Jackie Gubow
Jackie Gubow is the New York Theatre Agent at Gray Talent Group, a full service office in Chicago, LA, and NY. Her clients can be seen on and off-Broadway, National Tours, and in regional theatre all over the country.
Jackie was previously an agent at Professional Artists, where she worked for almost six years. She began her time in the city with internships at the casting office of Stewart/Whitley, Tara Rubin Casting, and The Growing Studio, giving her an eye for many aspects of the industry.
She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a BM in Music Education from Oakland University.

Francesca Francois-Grimaldi
Francesca Francois-Grimaldi is an Experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the entertainment industry. Strong professional skills in the representation of creative artists in film and television.
An inner city kid from south London, England, Francesca carried her Caribbean heritage with her to the US more than twenty years ago. She joined prominent representation company Fifi Oscard Agency where she was franchised as an Agent within a year of joining. Later, she moved to International Creative Management (ICM), where she went through the famed agent training program and spent several years in the Motion Pictures department. Francesca joined Reuters, which later became Thomson Reuters, where she spent several years in sales and editorial departments. She is the founding partner of Plaza 7 NYC Inc which rebranded to Crystal Ship Artists, A Talent and Literary Agency, and is the co-founding member of the Crystal Ship Filmmaker program (a free, vetted program created for filmmakers, television and digital content creators).
Francesca continues to support diversity at all levels in the entertainment industry, especially at the highly coveted showrunner levels.

Dave Secor
Dave Secor takes great pride in his hands-on approach to his clients, which are an extension of his family.
Dave joined the LA office at the Daniel Hoff Agency in 2006 before heading east to open the NY branch of the agency in 2013. He worked tirelessly to discover new talent and as a result, Dave has helped build careers on both coasts and is proud to currently have talent working on Broadway, TV, and film, as well as in National Tours and at regional theatres, Dave also enjoys teaching workshops to actors at colleges and conservatories across the country.
