Showcase to THREE Personal Management Companies in NYC and get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.

You'll also receive written feedback that will be emailed to you after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.

EVENT OVERVIEW:

The afternoon of the event, you’ll be given your appointment times in EST.

The event will start with a 30 minute Q&A with everyone in the room. Then you will be admitted one by one and get 5 minutes in the room with the guests, including your performance. After your time slot you are free to leave for the evening (hit “Leave Meeting” button).

Please show up at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time, and please be aware that technical issues can occur but your host will keep you updated while you are in the waiting room.

We kindly ask that you do not request to alter your appointment time.

-The host will open the ‘room’ at least 30 minutes before the start of class. You’re welcome to arrive during this time to run your scene with the host.

-Actors will be automatically sent to the ‘waiting room’. The host will admit the actors as they arrive. 

-The host or the guests will give the spiel on how the class will run with any special notes, and begin the lesson plan.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this event, please bring in your own scene of choice (no more than 2 minutes in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration).

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

  • Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.

Christopher D. Silveri

Now Vice President & Partner of UIA Talent Agency in the Film, TV, & Theatre, Christopher D. Silveri takes great pride in his career in the entertainment industry that has spanned the last two decades since his graduation from New York University’ Tisch School of the Arts. 

After a brief stint in acting, Christopher began his entertainment career casting commercials with Liz Lewis Casting Partners, moved in to represenation to head up the Legit Department (Theater, TV, and Film) at Gilla Roos, Ltd. and began his management career as Vice President of Talent Management at Prestige Management Group and then opened up his own office Center Stage Management. He's now back as an agent at UIA.

Alison Rinzel

Alison Rinzel is the Principal of AR Entertainment LLC, a talent management company. AR Entertainment represents a select group of actors who have appeared on stage, film and television programs.  

Alison has an extensive background in casting, including 16 years as Director of Casting with CBS Entertainment, where she cast primetime and daytime television programs. As Director of Casting with CBS, Alison performed New York casting for television pilots, series, internet programs, daytime dramas and CBS schoolbreak specials including: 90210, CSI: Miami, Flashpoint, The Cleaner, Swingtown, Survivor Live: The Internet Talk Show, The Young & The Restless and The Bold & The Beautiful.  She started her career in entertainment at talent agency, STE Representation, Ltd.  In addition to talent management, Alison coaches and teaches actors of all ages, both privately and in classes and workshops at various academic institutions.  Alison is a member of the National Conference of Personal Managers and New York Women in Film & Television.

Georgeanne Bruzzese

Georgeanne Bruzzese is a personal manager and owner of CPM Talent. She represents actors for commercial, print, television, film, theatre and voiceovers.

She has a BA in Communications Studies from Rutgers University and worked in law for many years before making the switch to working in talent management 15 years ago. Currently her clients work on everything from Broadway to feature films/television episodics, commercials and print. 

Driven by her deep respect for actors and her commitment to helping them achieve their highest aspirations, her focus is on providing individualized and personalized service, with an emphasis on communication and collaboration. She also endeavors to amiably foster positive, friendly, professional relationships with agents, casting directors and industry professionals with the goal of providing them the best possible talent to fulfill their needs.
