ONLINE FILM/TV INTENSIVE with Award Winning Film Director/Creator MISHA CALVERT!

Tuesday, December 6, 2022, 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Here's your chance to work with Misha Calvert who is an award-winning show creator with projects spanning film, TV, theater, and digital.

Misha's upcoming projects include her feature film RAGER that was just announced in Deadline, currently ballparked at 8M. She's also in pre-production on another thriller called PINK FLAGS starring Steven Spielberg’s son and daughter-in-law.

The event will start off with an informative virtual Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene opposite a reader. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments as Misha will coach and critique your work, tweak your material and share invaluable information.

What to Prepare:

For this online intensive, Misha will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

Assignments will be emailed 1-3 days in advance. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Misha Calvert

Misha Calvert is an award-winning indie filmmaker and showrunner based in New York.

She has created and sold two original series: STRUT (Revry) and ALL HAIL BETH (BRIC TV). She is currently prepping her feminist thriller RAGER as writer-director with Good Question Media attached to produce. She’s slated to direct the contemporary war drama JUMP LINE in 2024, and is writer-director on the climate change action film DIRT AND SKY currently in development. Her latest short film, PINK FLAGS, stars Raye and Sawyer Spielberg and is about to begin festivals.
