Looking for representation during a pandemic is no easy feat and you need feedback to make sure you are understanding how different people in the industry think about your skillset and marketability - that's why we are launching ONLINE PERSONAL MANAGER SHOWCASES.

Showcase to THREE Personal Management Companies in NYC and get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.

You'll also receive written feedback that will be emailed to you after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.

What to Prepare:

For this showcase, please prepare a monologue OR a scene of choice that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. You can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration), OR bring in your own 2-3 page scene. 

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

**Actors Connection classes and programming are for ADULTS (18+). With permission, some teens (14+) are allowed to take adult programming. To inquire about getting permission, please send an email to: info@actorsconnection.com**

Thomas Green

Thomas Green joins Lakey Wolff & Company after previously being an associate at another management firm, with a focus on Theatre, Television, Film and Commercials.

He found a passion for the business side, as he was always guiding his peers to help them achieve their goals and aspirations. Along with the team at Lakey Wolff & Company, he continues to cultivate artists, taking them to the next level of their career and further establishing their team based on their desires and needs. With his background in Musical Theatre, and strong interest in Television and Film, he offers a foundation to support the artist in an ever changing industry.

Lorna Rainey

The Talent Express (TTE) has a long and successful history.

Started by Lorna Rainey in 1991 as a talent agency, over the years it’s morphed into a company with a focused approach to the select talent we represent. The transition began in November 2010 and culminated in management certification in January 2012 by NCOPM.

We represent talent in various stages of their careers…from fresh-faced newcomers to seasoned professionals. Talent who procure work in commercials, voice-overs, film, TV, live events, and theatre are on our roster. But no matter who they are, the goal is the same, to guide and provide them with every possible opportunity to take their careers to the next level. This includes getting them situated with the right agent who is clearly most in sync with their goals.

Many talents say they feel as if they are alone in the process and afraid of making bad career decisions, of accepting the wrong assignment for the right reasons, that they don’t know how to get on the path to success…that’s what we’re here for.

Our expanded management team has a hands-on approach. Along with Lorna Rainey (owner/senior manager), Anastasia Rene (associate manager/new talent development), and Evelyn Weiss Francisco (theatre and youth division) we work to ensure that every resource at our disposal is levied for your success. Julie Suronen

Citizen Skull Management - CSP is a team of fourteen managers that represent the best in talent across a multitude of creative mediums, including writers, actors, and directors. They provide individualized attention to work with their clients so that they can achieve their career goals.

Client feature film credits include: ANTMAN, HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD, and MEAN GIRLS to name a few.

Clients TV credits include: OZARK, THE HANDMAID'S TALE, SUPERSTORE, THE POLITICIAN, GOSSIP GIRL and DYNASTY to name a few.

Julie Suronen began her entertainment industry career in Los Angeles CA. Julie is an award winning film producer and theatrical talent manager. Julie has been managing over 5 years and producing films for 6 years.

Julie has managed talent with CSP (citizen skull management) for the majority of her career. She primarily deals with theatrical actors for TV and Film.

Julie is based in NY City, but also has clients based in LA, Toronto, and Paris.
