Looking for representation during a pandemic is no easy feat and you need feedback to make sure you are understanding how different people in the industry think about your skillset and marketability - that's why we are launching ONLINE AGENT SHOWCASES.

Showcase to THREE legit agencies in LOS ANGELES and get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.

You'll also receive written feedback that will be emailed to you 1-3 days after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.

This panel includes:

- Palmer Parrilla, The Dragonfly Agency - FIRST TIME GUEST!

- Denny Sevier, The House of Representatives, A Talent Agency - FIRST TIME GUEST!

What to Prepare:

For this showcase, please prepare a scene of choice that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. You can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration), OR bring in your own 2-3 page scene. 

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Anthony Boyer

Anthony Boyer began his professional life as a music director, accompanist, and conductor in opera and musical theatre before switching to talent representation. 

In November 2013, after years as an assistant at a small agency, DDO Artists Agency hired him to create a west coast theatrical division. With a dual emphasis on TV/film and theatre, that division has helped actors find roles as principal performers in Broadway musicals and national tours, series regulars on hit television shows, and leads in major studio feature films. 

In 2021, his success led him to be named a partner in DDO's theatrical division, in which capacity he now oversees divisions in both the New York and Los Angeles offices.

Denny Sevier

Denny Sevier celebrated 28 years with The House of Representatives on 2/7/2022.  He represents actors for film, television and theatre.

Palmer Parrilla

Palmer Parrilla has worked in multiple facets of the industry including casting, production and representation, alongside Emmy and Oscar winning executives and artists.  

He runs the commercial and theatrical departments at DFA which is a division of The Dragonfly Agency.  Since opening DFA at the end of 2020, his clients have been nominated for Emmy Awards and have worked across all mediums of entertainment, from reality to digital platforms to the big screens.
