Looking for representation during a pandemic is no easy feat and you need feedback to make sure you are understanding how different people in the industry think about your skillset and marketability - that's why we are launching ONLINE AGENT SHOWCASES.
Showcase to THREE legit agencies in LOS ANGELES and get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.
You'll also receive written feedback that will be emailed to you 1-3 days after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.

What to Prepare:
For this showcase, please prepare a scene of choice that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. You can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration), OR bring in your own 2-3 page scene.
Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Longtime agent James “Woody” Woodward has been tapped by the agency to oversee its selective roster of children, teen, and adult actors. Through this development, UAA’s exclusive talent will have access to a full service team with over 20 agents and offices in New York City and Los Angeles.

A graduate of Columbia College Chicago, James received his Master’s Degree in Arts Entertainment and Media Management. Woody began his career at UAA in 2009, and has been instrumental in landing branding, film, TV, theater, and commercial deals for the agency. “We couldn’t be more proud of Woody” said Universal Attractions Agency co-owner Jeff Epstein. “Woody has been a pillar of growth at UAA. We look forward to the growth of the division and his continued success.”
Courtney Peldon
A native New Yorker with a 35+ year history in the entertainment industry, Courtney has headed up the theatrical department at Aqua Talent Agency for more than a decade.
Prior to her turn as an agent at one of the highest volume boutique agencies in Los Angeles, Courtney worked on the casting side of the desk finding talent for such networks as MTV, VH1, Spike TV, Tru TV, HBO, and Showtime. Courtney began in the business as a child actor back east and went on to do hundreds of national commercials, starred on Broadway in the hit musical Meet Me in St. Louis at the Gershwin Theater, was seen in films like Steven Spielberg's Little Giants and the Farrelly brothers comedy Say it Isn't So and appeared in numerous television series including Home Improvement opposite Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Raising Dad opposite the late Bob Saget, and Boston Public as a major recurring character created by David E. Kelley. She has won 3 Young Artist awards for her work as an actress, performed at the Tony Awards, and garnered a 2019 Heller Awards nomination for Best Theatrical Agent. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, young son, dog and hamster.
