New! Authentic Acting: 2-Week Online FILM/TV Class with Byron Beane, Casting Director - Bi-Coastal Office!

Here's your chance to work with this bi-coastal casting director to focus on authencity as an actor.

Byron's projects include an HBO Max pilot called GORDITA CHRONICLES, COYOTE, the brand new Paramount+ series from the producers of BREAKING BAD starring Michael Chiklis and a hit Netflix series starring Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men). 

Your first week, you'll bring in a 2-3 page film/TV scene of your choice to work on with Byron. He'll focus on your audition skills for on-camera and really hone in on what makes you unique as an actor.

In your second week, he'll assign challenging scenes where you will work on deepening your idea of human behavior in relationship as authenticly and truthfully as possible.

His class is for actors (18+).

What to Prepare:

For your first class, please prepare a 2-3 page scene of your choice that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. You can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration), OR bring in your own 2-3 page scene. 

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

For your second class, Byron will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account.
Assignments will be emailed 1-3 days in advance. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Byron has a decade of experience in casting, talent management, and producing. He began his career in entertainment studying as an actor in New York City, and then moved to the business side to help champion actors and guide their careers. Byron has worked in top casting offices as well as independently, casting pilots, films, commercials and branded content.
