ONLINE LEGIT MANAGER NIGHT - Showcase to 3 NYC Personal Managers!

Looking for representation during a pandemic is no easy feat and you need feedback to make sure you are understanding how different people in the industry think about your skillset and marketability - that's why we are launching ONLINE PERSONAL MANAGER SHOWCASES.

Showcase to THREE Personal Management Companies in NYC and get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.

You'll also receive written feedback that will be emailed to you 1-3 days after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.
 

This panel includes:

- Alison Rinzel, AR Entertainment Management - FIRST TIME GUEST!

- Samantha Mirabal, Apollo Talent Management - (Offices in NY, LA and ATL) - FIRST TIME GUEST!

What to Prepare:

For this showcase, please prepare a monologue OR a scene of choice that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. You can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration), OR bring in your own 2-3 page scene. 

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

**Actors Connection classes and programming are for ADULTS (18+). With permission, some teens (14+) are allowed to take adult programming. To inquire about getting permission, please send an email to: info@actorsconnection.com**

Ally Taylor

Ally Taylor is the owner of Ally Taylor Artists, a bicoastal talent management company.  She represents clients of all ages for TV, Film, Theater, Commercial, VO, and also represents a recording artist. Ally grew up in Los Angeles and studied theater and voice in LA and NYC. After studying musical theater in college, she decided to change paths and go into representation. Ally worked on many A List celebrity teams at management companies in both LA and NYC before building her own roster and opening up Ally Taylor Artists. 

Ally has clients on TV (Better Call Saul, Big Sky, Gentefied, Walker, Never Have I Ever, Only Murders In The Building, etc), Broadway tours (Fiddler On The Roof, etc), Films (National Anthem, Blowback, etc), Commercials (Xfinity, Wing Stop, Sketchers, Planet Oat, Boxed, etc). 

She loves actors and is always looking to bring on and develop great talent! 

Alison Rinzel

Alison Rinzel is the Principal of AR Entertainment LLC, a talent management company. AR Entertainment represents a select group of actors who have appeared on stage, film and television programs.  

Alison has an extensive background in casting, including 16 years as Director of Casting with CBS Entertainment, where she cast primetime and daytime television programs. As Director of Casting with CBS, Alison performed New York casting for television pilots, series, internet programs, daytime dramas and CBS schoolbreak specials including: 90210, CSI: Miami, Flashpoint, The Cleaner, Swingtown, Survivor Live: The Internet Talk Show, The Young & The Restless and The Bold & The Beautiful.  She started her career in entertainment at talent agency, STE Representation, Ltd.  In addition to talent management, Alison coaches and teaches actors of all ages, both privately and in classes and workshops at various academic institutions.  Alison is a member of the National Conference of Personal Managers and New York Women in Film & Television.
