Bloc NYC is a talent agency representing choreographers, dancers and actors for live concerts, theatre, commercials, feature film, episodic television, music videos, and print.

With a sister office in Los Angeles, bloc NYC specializes in all areas of the performing arts.

Bloc's legit department represents a wide range of talent from young dancers in the ensemble of today's hottest Broadway shows to classical actors on the stage and screen.

Bridget is the newest agent at Bloc NY and is currently interested in meeting new, experienced talent of All Types - All Ethnicities (18+).

**Please note that an accompanist will not be provided. All actors will need to provide their own music for this session.**

What to Prepare:

For this seminar, please prepare a film/TV scene of choice that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. You can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration), OR bring in your own 2-3 page scene. 

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

**Actors Connection classes and programming are for ADULTS (18+). With permission, some teens (14+) are allowed to take adult programming. To inquire about getting permission, please send an email to: info@actorsconnection.com**

Bridget McCarthy

BRIDGET MCCARTHY is the newest agent in the theatrical department at Bloc NYC.

She has clients in many Broadway shows including HARRY POTTER & THE CURSED CHILD, MOULIN ROUGE, THE MUSIC MAN, DEAR EVAN HANSEN, TINA, and ALADDIN, along with National Tours such as HAMILTON and FROZEN.

She also has clients who appear regularly on TV in titles like THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, SUCCESSION, and BULL, in addition to various films, namely WEST SIDE STORY and IN THE HEIGHTS.

Bridget is an Emerson College graduate who uses her communications degree to enhance the careers of actors.
